DISCOVER TRUE NORTH
We live in a lost and broken world where people are searching for direction and purpose. Many search in all the wrong places, never achieving the fulfillment they desire or even realizing there is something better. We want to help people find their “true north” in Jesus. We want people to experience the joy, peace, purpose and new life that comes with following Him. And we want to be a community who is passionate about the cause of Christ in our world. An unstoppable movement of Jesus followers partnering with Him to change lives.
So that people might discover the amazing love of Jesus and develop into world-changing disciples.
"A new command I give you, love one another. As I have loved you so you must love one another." - John 13:34
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the very Word of God, written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and therefore is without error.
There is one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.
We were created by God to have an intimate relationship with Him but broke that relationship through our disobedience (sin) to His standards. Because of this disobedience we are powerless to redeem ourselves back to right standing with God.
Jesus, through his shed blood on the cross, provides the only way for people to be forgiven of sin. It is a free gift from God and sufficient for all those who place their trust in Christ as Lord and Savior.
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
When you become a follower of Jesus you take on a new life guided by a desire to be obedient to God’s Word and putting your life under His authority. All believers should be striving to be more like Jesus daily.
The church is the body of Christ and Jesus is the head. The body is made up of all those who have put their trust in Christ as Lord and Savior. Under Christ’s leadership the church exists to glorify God by loving people and making disciples.
