Day 10: Wednesday April 22nd

If you're like me, it can be so easy to forget we are children of God. When I recenter with that perspective and really focus on that reality, anxiety goes away, things I thought were important become meaningless, and both a peace and an urgency come over me.

Why an urgency? Because, as children of God, we are all called to help with the harvest; to disciple, to love others, to share this amazing inheritance we have!

Being like Him as referred to in today's scripture shouldn't be too foreign of a concept, as the spirit of the living God lives in us. IN us! I believe that, if we make drawing close to God each day a priority, we will get closer to what we were created to be -- like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Today's challenge:

As a child holds his father's hand, fully relying on him, enjoying being with him, learning from him, feeling secure and loved, I challenge you to refresh your perspective of your relationship with God.

"Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." James 4:8

Will you commit to spend more time with Him today, talking with Him and listening to Him by reading His Word? You will see your perspective shift because being a child of God won't be an occurrence, but will be your reality!
