Something I've come to realize more and more is that we will never be satisfied in this life until Jesus becomes the ONLY focus of our worship. And he only becomes the object of our worship when we are DESPERATE for Him in every aspect of our lives.

The Psalmist says as the deer PANTS for streams of water so my soul pants for you. The imagery is powerful. A tired, weary deer desperate for water and stopping at nothing to find it. Nothing will quench it's thirst until it finds that water.

Are you desperate for the Lord in that way? Do you realize that HE is the only thing that will bring you true fulfillment? What is it that you need to stop panting after so you can fully focus on Jesus?

As the deerpants for streams of water,

so my soul pantsfor you, my God.

My soul thirstsfor God, for the living God.

When can I goand meet with God?

Psalm 42:1-2

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:5

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:15
