Outreach is taking your heart for serving and extending it beyond the church walls. Here at True North Church, we focus on outreach in four areas in order to bring out your inner world changer.
PEOPLE REACHING PEOPLE
For 2000 years the church has grown primarily through one thing and one thing only, people reaching people. When each individual member of the church makes it a priority to love their neighbors, meet felt needs in their families and neighborhoods and share the gospel, lives change. That's why at TN our number one outreach initiative is equipping the church to love and share the gospel with family and friends.
LOCAL OUTREACH
We love our community, and we love to serve it. It's woven into the fabric of who we are. All year long, we offer serving opportunities to help out in the community and we can't wait for you to join us!
We currently are partnered with the "Foster Love Project, who provides love in action to kids in foster care and the families who care for them. Currently we are partaking in their FLP Bag Drive! Check out EVENTS to learn more
GLOBAL OUTREACH
Jesus calls us to go into all the WORLD and make disciples. We are passionate about taking the gospel to the nations and meeting felt needs around the globe.
We currently work with New Vines International to expand the Kingdom beyond North America. NVI Provides training, tools, and capital to help people lift themselves out of poverty and exploitation while sharing the most important message of all, the gospel.
CHURCH PLANTING
At TN we believe one of the most effective ways to reach more people with the gospel is by planting more churches. We have partnered with the Times 12 network to plant more churches in Pittsburgh and beyond in the near future.
