We’re on a mission to change the world,
one loving act of generosity at a time.
It’s been said that people don’t really care what you have to say until they know that you actually care. Throughout Jesus’ life he modeled lavish generosity on those around him. Whether it was feeding them, healing them from illness and affliction or simply providing comfort in crisis, Christ served the needs of those around him with incredible generosity. That loving generosity is what drew people to him and made him so attractive. He cared. So much so that in the end he was willing to die for the ones he loved. It was the greatest act of generosity in history, and it changed the world forever.
As a church we believe we’ve been called to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and show that kind of love to the world around us. That love is what drew people to him 2000 years ago, and it is that same love that will draw people to him today. More than anything we want people to experience his incredible love and purpose for their lives.
The #begenerousmovement is our way of organically loving our community, neighbors and friends through random acts of generosity in the hopes that they will see something different in us. That Jesus has made our lives better in every possible way and that he desires the same for them.
