It’s been said that people don’t really care what you have to say until they know that you actually care. Throughout Jesus’ life he modeled incredible generosity on those around him. Whether it was feeding them, healing them or simply providing comfort in crisis, Christ SERVED with love. It's what drew people to him and made him so attractive. So much so that in the end he was willing to die for the ones he loved. It was the greatest act of generosity in history, and it changed the world forever. 

JESUS WAS THE MOST GENEROUS PERSON WHO EVER

LIVED, AND WE WANT TO FOLLOW IN HIS FOOTSTEPS!

The #begenerousmovement is our way of organically loving our community, neighbors and friends through random acts of generosity in the hopes that they will see something different in us; and ultimately encounter JESUS.

SO, HOW DO I BECOME PART OF THE MOVEMENT!?

Grab a #begenerousmovement card from our welcome area

​

Prayerfully ask God to help you see needs and opportunities

​

When you see an opportunity, take action and serve generously

​

Leave your #begenerousmovement card and pray for that person

​

Repeat as often as you can!

DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START?

Some suggestions for how to #begenerous

Mow your neighbor’s lawn or rake their leaves

Give out cold drinks on a hot day
Make cookies or a meal for your neighbor
Pay for someone’s coffee, breakfast, groceries etc.
Leave an extra-large tip for your waiter/waitress
Hand out 5-dollar gift cards at your favorite coffee shop
The sky is the limit, be creative!
