BAPTISM
For thousands of years, baptism has been a defining mark of followers of Jesus. Jesus started His ministry with baptism and then included baptism in His final command to His followers at the end of His ministry. When we take the step of being baptized, it immerses us into the story of Jesus. We die to all that is old and bury it under the water. We are then raised in the power of His resurrection to the new life we can experience in Him.
Baptism also serves as a powerful marker in your faith story. It is a reminder of the forgiveness, freedom, and relationship He initiated with you. On some days, it is hard to really believe we are still forgiven. Some days, we find ourselves wrestling with old hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Some days, we just don’t feel like Jesus is very close. Those are the days when we can cling to that moment of baptism to remember that it’s not about what we’ve done for Jesus, but what Jesus has done for us.
STUDY THE BIBLE
So how does one take on the challenge of daily reading, deep studying, and faithful application? The SOAP Method. This method is a journaling strategy that really helps make the Bible come alive and be more digestible and why we created "THE PATH". A 365 day SOAP Journal complete with encouraging scripture, quarterly breakdowns, pages for Sunday Sermons, and more. We know that with this tool your consistency and focus on Jesus will greatly increase which in turn will bring success in all you do (Joshua 1:8).

D-GROUP
In Matthew 28 Jesus commissioned his followers to, "go and make disciples." At TNC we take that commission seriously, and desire to see everyone in our church MULTIPLYING themselves. We've found the simplest most reproducible method for multiplying relational disciple makers is through what we call Discipleship Groups (D-groups for short).
D-groups are small groups of 3-4 people that come together for a season (anywhere from 3-12 months) with the specific intention of learning how to become relational disciple makers through three life-long habits. 1) FOLLOWING Jesus daily using the SOAP journaling method. 2) FISHING regularly for people who need the love of Jesus. 3) FORMING a few intentionally to follow Jesus and make disciples themselves.

LIFE GROUP
A life group is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. Your life group will not only be a place where you can grow and learn about Jesus, but it's your place to find encouragement and care as you navigate life's challenges. A life group is a grace filled, Jesus centered community that acts like your little family within the big family.
