World-Changer Spotlight: Get to Know Jess Reichard

Hi, I am Jess! I am one of the outreach deacons at TNC. I have been attending TNC since the spring of 2022 and after a year or two of attending I felt led to help get our church out serving our local community regularly. As a physical therapist, I have a heart for watching people thrive, and want to help connect our church to those who have physical and spiritual needs.

Jess' Testimony: A God Who Makes Things Right

Before Jesus...

I was selfish and unfulfilled. I did what made me “happy” but never was satisfied. 

But then Jesus …

met me at a vulnerable time in my life. He reached me and showed me his love for me, even at my worst.

And now because of Jesus…

 I have a purpose, I know I am loved, and I have confidence that no matter what I go through, the God of the Universe goes with me. He will make all things right.

Favorite Verse or Book of the Bible? Why?

My favorite verse is

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.” -Isaiah 26:3

I had a friend who shared a word with me during a tough time in my life that she feels that I will one day be “steadfast” and unwavering in the Lord. During a time of prayer and reflecting, the Lord led me to this verse and I feel this message has been a theme for me as I navigate life.  

Who would you want to have a discussion with from the Bible, besides Jesus?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego - this is one of my favorite stories, I would love to hear it from their perspective, hear what they were thinking and what they saw. Did God say anything to them while they were in there?
